Disinfectant: You can make disinfectant by mixing water, vinegar and a little bit of lemon juice. The active ingredient vinegar has a high acidity level which kills bacteria and also breaks down grime and dirt. However you should not use vinegar on marble, stone or waxed surface because the high acidity can damage the surface.

Deodorizer: Baking Soda is a great green cleaning product that many people use as deodorizing product. Baking soda has the ability to absorb unwanted odors. The most common use of baking soda is as a deodorizer for your fridge. There a many other ways you can use baking soda as a deodorizer. You can sprinkle it your trash can, or on pet stain. Just remember to vacuum it off the stain later once the odor is gone.

Toilet Cleaner: You can clean your toilet by washing it with vinegar. Also did you know you can use Coke to remove the red ring in your toilets! Just pour a liter of Coke in your toilet before you go to bed at night and in the morning you can flush it away.

Drain Cleaner: You can clean and unclog your drains with a simple solution. Pour baking soda down your drain then add vinegar. The solution will fizz creating a safe chemical reaction that will unclog your drain. Once this is done pour boiling water down the drain to remove and of the baking soda and vinegar residue.

Air Filter: Instead of purchasing an expensive air filtering machine that uses energy, consider purchasing indoor plants. Indoor plants consumer oxygen and filter toxins such as formaldehyde, benzene and ammonia. Also when it is nice outside, open your windows! Outside air contains significantly less air born toxins than air inside a building.
