Picking up Glass: Shattered glass is dangerous and can be difficult to pick up safely. To remove broken glass shards, dab at the broken glass with Play-Doo. The glass will get stuck inside the Play-Doo and can easily be removed from your floor. Just make sure you dispose of the Play-Doo after picking up the glass so no one ends up accidently playing with it.

Unclogging a Sink: Instead of purchasing expensive drain cleaners, you can use an old science experiment you may remember from when you were a kid. Start by sprinkling baking soda inside your drain then pour in vinegar so it fizzes. Let the baking soda and vinegar solution sit for several minutes than rinse with boiling water.

Cleaning the Microwave: To clean your microwave start by placing a microwavable cup of water inside. Turn your microwave on a high setting for several minutes. The steam created by the water will loosen up stuck on food particles. Remove the cup with an oven mitt and then wipe away any food or steam with a microfiber cloth for the best results.

Removing Scuff Marks: Scuff marks on walls and hard surface floors can be removed with a tennis ball. Just rub the tennis ball on the scuff mark to remove it. You can even cut a hole in a tennis ball then attach it to a pole to create a scuff mark removal tool.

Cleaning Blinds: Start by mixing vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Put two socks over your hands. One sock will be used for spreading the cleaning solution the other sock will be used to dry the blinds. Dip one sock into the bowl them run your fingers across the blind. Start from the top and finish at the bottom while drying the blinds as you go.
